The ZACK ADAMS Project goes into “indefinite hibernation”

21 04 2014

Last night I performed the final night of of the “Zack Adams Trilogy” at Mainline and apparently everyone decided “Love Songs For Future Girl” was the show that they wanted to see, so last night was packed to the rafters (literally) in the Minimain at MainLine Theatre. A sincere thank you to all who came out, I have performed that show (at last count) around 150 times and last night was easily one of the funnest and most generous crowds I have ever had.

So after almost ten years, 6 live shows, two EPs and two live albums, countless stand-up shows and hundreds of performances at Festivals all around the world, Zack Adams” is now officially on “indefinite hibernation”. The Zack Adams Projects have been a huge part of my life and played a big role in getting my career to where it is now, but I feel like I’ve told all the stories I want to with Zack, for now at least, and I really want to focus on other projects that are still really exciting and challenging me, Trampoline, for example.

It was great to go out on a high last night, “Love Songs” is a show that has always meant a whole lot to me and I was glad so many people got joy and laughter out of it over the years.

Thanks Zack, I’ll be sure to “hit the cable with the hammer” at ever opportunity.

P.S. If you’re really after a Zack Adams fix, you can download a bunch of live, rare and studio tracks HERE!
